The Wine

Mendocino is famous for its dark, dense, rich, fruity and earthy Zinfandels with high alcohol content. With restricted yields it produces distinctive wines of very high quality. Syrah and Petite Syrah have been added to this blend to give extra body to the mid palate and 10 months in new and old barrels gives the wine a toasty and spicy creaminess.

Food Pairing

This wine is great with full flavoured casseroles and red meat dishes.
