The Wine

This Campo Viejo Rioja is definitely up there on the Wine-Station’s Top 10 Wines. The wine is aged in oak casks for 12 months to give it it’s spicy-vanilla oak flavours. This is followed by 6 months in the bottle to help mature the wine and marry the flavours.

Intense aromas of dark fruits, plums, cherries, hints of strawberries and toasty vanilla oak

Great with pork, lamb chops and dried cheeses

Cellaring

This wine will provide good drinking over the next 5 years
