The Wine
Echeverria only make the wine from their estate grown grapes, all of which originate from ungrafted select clones of pre-phylloxera French Rootstock.
Tasting Notes
Complex on the nose, this Carmenère combines intense aromas of raspberries and cherry confiture with ripe red bell peppers and a hint of black pepper. Smooth and velvety, with chocolatey notes on the palate, it is a well balanced wine with a long and pleasant finish.
Enjoy With
Drinks well with grilled meats, especially lamb, pasta dishes with meat or tomato, stews, medium curries and seared spicy tuna.
Cellaring
This wine will provide good drinking and last up to at least 5 years.
