The Wine
The “Cherry Chocolate” Chocolate Box by Rocland Estates is a blend of 42% Grenache, 40% Shiraz and 18% Mataro produced from Barossa Valley fruit. The palate has a delicious spiciness with cinnamon evident over a robust and generous body. It leaves a persistent lingering silky finish. As soon as we tasted this wine we had to put it on our site.
Aroma
Earth aromas of savoury oak, dark cherries and stewed rhubarb.
Enjoy With
A perfect match with pheasant and venison, spicy pasta dishes or lamb.
Cellaring
This wine is designed to be drunk whilst young and fresh, but will also provide good drinking over the next couple of years.
