The Villa Maria Private Bin East Coast blend consists of parcels grown in Gisborne, Hawkes Bay and a small portion from the Marlborough region. This inter-regional blend produces a complete wine displaying the full spectrum of Chardonnay flavours. This East Coast Chardonnay is Fruit-driven in style, exhibiting ripe peach and pear with underlying hints of citrus blossom. On the palate the upfront fruit flavours are followed by a creamy and nutty texture with integrated oak characters. This Chardonnay is beautifully matched with light dishes so try with an antipasto platter, chicken Caesar salad or seafood dish.
