Tommasi Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico
You must add 1 as a minimum quantity to buy this product.
Produced from the three Valpolicella grape varieties of Corvina Veronese, Rondinella and Molinara, cultivated high on the hillside terraces. After harvest the grapes are placed directly onto small open racks and brought to the open sided building where they are dried by the cool breezes of autumn and winter until the following February. The wine then undergoes a period of aging of at least four years in oak barrels before bottling. A wine which can be proudly served on any special occasion. Complex, rich and full bodied with lots of cherry notes and plum.
Grapey, deep aromas of stewed plum, raisin, date and cocoa explode from the glass.
Best served with red meats, game and soft cheeses.
This wine will continue to get better with age.
